Welcome to the Parliament of Ghana Library's Green Guide. This guide provides practical tips and information on how we can all contribute to environmental sustainability through our library practices.
Always turn off lights, computers, and other electronic devices when leaving study areas or when not in use.
Utilize natural light during the day by opening blinds and positioning workspaces near windows.
Print only when necessary and always use double-sided printing. Set your default printer settings to double-sided to save paper.
Use our e-resources and digital collections instead of printed materials whenever possible.
Use the clearly marked recycling bins throughout the library for paper, plastics, and other recyclables.
Bring your own reusable water bottle and coffee cup to reduce single-use plastics in the library.
Explore our digital collection of e-books and audiobooks to reduce paper consumption.
Return borrowed items on time and in good condition so others can enjoy them.
